Position Title: Internship

Anticipated Start Date: Spring Semester, 2024

Number of Hours: 20+ hours/week, Monday-Friday, flexible hours

Pay: $15/hr

POSITION SUMMARY:

Hello Adorn is seeking an intern looking to learn the ins and outs of a small business. This internship is valuable because it gives the candidate an exciting opportunity to dive into multiple facets of a small business including making and assembly, marketing/marketing analytics, customer care, inventory and fulfillment. This position is a unique opportunity for an individual to explore the entire scope of a local business by rotating throughout the operation over the 13-week program. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Based on the qualifications of the candidate, the intern will have the opportunity to assist/support in any or all of the following areas:

• Assist the makers with the production process including: basic jewelry assembly (jump rings, clasps), tumbling, carding, cut and grinding wire, etc.
• Assist in the assurance of quality and accuracy of finished jewelry
• Learn and follow brand policy in order to assist our Customer Care team with customer concerns/questions, returns and exchanges and processing repairs
• Ship orders while working closely with the Fulfillment team
• Assist the Marketing team by creating content and analyzing the success of campaigns 
• Support Inventory team by assisting in cycle counts and monitor / unpack inventory of components

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a cross-functional team
• Self-motivated and organized
• Operational knowledge of the Google Suite (Docs + Sheets)
• Jewelry assembly experience is helpful but not required
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong desire to learn new skills

 WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The intern will be working in an open collaborative space with their own desk space.
